EXPLANATION: On December 5, 2023, Council directed staff to begin discussions with Related Companies after receiving a letter of interest for the purchase and development of the K-Park property located at 10400 Stribling Way, Wellington, Florida 33414. At this point in time, we have two parties interested in the acquisition and development of K-Park: Ward Real Estate and The Related Companies. Ward Real Estate continues to refine its concept plans for the project and maintains its $54,000,000 offer for the property. They have further advised of interest in the project by the Related Group as noted in Exhibit A. The Related Companies continues to further develop its concept plan (Exhibit B) but will not be submitting a purchase proposal until February.
