A RESOLUTION OF WELLINGTON, FLORIDA’S COUNCIL APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CLERK TO EXECUTE AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF WELLINGTON AND THE SCHOOL BOARD OF PALM BEACH COUNTY FOR THE MUTUAL USE OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
REQUEST: Approval of an Interlocal Agreement between the Village of Wellington and the School Board of Palm Beach County for the mutual use of recreational facilities.

EXPLANATION: This Interlocal Agreement enables the Village of Wellington and the School Board of Palm Beach County to utilize each other’s recreational facilities and provides procedures for authorizing the use of the Board’s recreation facilities by Village-affiliated recreation groups and organizations that have been approved by the parties. The term of the agreement is for one year and shall automatically renew up to four (4) consecutive one (1) year terms, unless either party provides a written notice of intent to terminate the agreement.
