A RESOLUTION OF WELLINGTON, FLORIDA’S COUNCIL, APPROVING THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH PALM BEACH COUNTY FOR THE TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP, OPERATION, AND MAINTENANCE OF A PORTION OF LAKE WORTH ROAD, LOCATED DIRECTLY ADJACENT TO PANTHER RUN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL; AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

EXPLANATION: An Interlocal Agreement (ILA) between Wellington and Palm Beach County is required as a companion application to the Lake Worth Road Annexation (Ordinance No. 2026-08). The ILA sets the expectations for the transfer of ownership, operations, and maintenance of the portion of Lake Worth Road that is directly adjacent to Panther Run Elementary School.
