ITEM:                     AUTHORIZATION TO UTILIZE A CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH CONTRACT AS A BASIS FOR PRICING FOR THE INSTALLATION OF ROCK RIP RAP

REQUEST:                     Authorization to utilize a City of West Palm Beach contract with Murray Logan Construction, LLC. as a basis for pricing for the installation of rock rip rap at 130^th Avenue and 50th Street and the southside of 50^th Street across 120^th Avenue, in the amount of $132,100.00.

EXPLANATION:                     The City of West Palm Beach executed master contracts with various vendors for RFQ 23-24-405.  The Village of Wellington invited all of the awarded vendors to provide a quote for the installation of rock rip rap, at the following locations:  

Location 1 is for 130^th Avenue and 50^th Street and will include furnishing and installing rip rap around an existing culvert pipe where the C-25 ties into the east side of 130^th Avenue.

Location 2 is for the south side of 50^th Street and will include furnishing and installing rock rip rap around the east and west sides of the culvert pipe that connects the C-25 to the C-7 canal.

The Village received three (3) quotes utilizing the City of West Palm Beach contract # RFQ 23-24-405 MK, effective through October 9, 2027:
