EXPLANATION: The Florida Department of Environmental Protection administers the Resilient Florida Grant Program. The FDEP has awarded $1,217,318 in grant funding for the Village of Wellington Pump Station #2 Project.
Approval of Resolution No. AC2023-07 authorizes the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the FDEP for the grant and Resolution No. AC2023-08 amends the ACME Surface Water Capital Funds Budget for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 for the grant award of $1,217,318. Wellington’s match is $1,217,318.

Approval of the budget amendment will allocate grant proceeds of $1,217,328 to revenues and expenditures for the project.
