EXPLANATION: The Florida Department of Environmental Protection administers the Resilient Florida Grant Program. The FDEP has awarded $201,800 in grant funding for the Village of Wellington Comprehensive Vulnerability Assessment which identifies or addresses risks of flooding and sea level rise.
Approval of Resolution No. AC2024-03 authorizes the Village Manager to enter into an agreement with the FDEP for the grant and Resolution No. AC2024-04 amends the ACME Surface Water Management Fund Budget for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 for the grant award of $201,800. There is no required match from Wellington.
