EXPLANATION: On April 11, 2023 Village Council approved authorization to continue utilizing the Southeast Florida Cooperative Contract, City of Deerfield Beach Contract #2018-19/12 with multiple vendors, to provide water meter fittings and water line accessories through March 5, 2024. The City of Deerfield Beach recently renewed the Contract through March 5, 2025. The awarded vendors are listed below:

This contract provides for the supply of small diameter service piping and fittings used for the installation, repair, and replacement of water services. Multiple vendors are included as part of the contract, allowing for flexibility and access to materials.
All contracts were awarded as a percentage off the vendor’s published catalog price. Vendors providing the best overall price, for the items required, will be selected for award preference. A total of twenty-three (23) municipalities across South Florida currently utilize pricing under this contract.
Staff recommends utilizing Southeast Florida Cooperative contract #2018-19/12 with multiple vendors, as a basis for pricing, for the purchase and delivery of water meter fittings and water line accessories, in the amount of approximately $200,000 annually.
