EXPLANATION: The Arbor Day Foundation works with communities after a natural disaster to help with recovery by planting trees. The Arbor Day Foundation partners with corporate sponsors and on-the-ground planting partners activating projects that aid in healing and renew hope.
The Village of Wellington is very happy to announce that the Arbor Day Foundation has notified us of the following two awards from two outstanding corporate partners:
1) Bank of America - $24,750 - for the planting of 55 trees in the Binks Forest Drive area
2) International Paper - $26,250 - for the planting of 56 trees in the Flying Cow Road area
