EXPLANATION: Staff is seeking authorization to:
1) Award a contract to K & K Systems, Inc., for the purchase and delivery of rapid flashing beacons. The scope of the work includes improving the advance warning system of the bridal crossings throughout the Village. On June 18, 2025, the Village released ITB # 202515 Purchase and Delivery of Rapid Flashing Beacons, seeking qualified firms to provide such services. The solicitation was advertised on Demandstar and the Palm Beach County’s Legal Notice site. On July 17, 2025, two (2) proposals were received, meeting the required specifications. The lowest, responsive bidder was K & K Systems, Inc. Projects will be awarded based on the unit price submitted.
The initial terms of the contract will be one (1) year, with the option of three (3) one (1) year additional renewals.
