ITEM: PRESENTATION OF NEW THREE YEAR SHIP LHAP AND PROGRAM AUDIT
EXPLANATION: The presentation is for the amended three-year Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) for the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program. The LHAP is a required, triennial document detailing how Wellington will spend state funds to create and preserve affordable housing for very low-, low-, and moderate-income families. It acts as the strategic plan for SHIP funds on strategies like rehabilitation and emergency repairs.
The presentation will also review the first SHIP program audit by Florida Housing.
