ITEM: AUTHORIZATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT FOR HAULING AND DISPOSAL OF CLASS AA BIOSOLIDS AND UNCLASSIFIED DEWATERED SLUDGE
REQUEST: Authorization to award a contract to Revinu, Inc. for the Hauling and Disposal of Class AA Biosolids and Unclassified Dewatered Sludge in the amount of approximately $35,000 annually.

EXPLANATION: This project includes the transporting and disposal of the entire production of Class AA Biosolids generated at Wellington's Water Reclamation Facility (WRF). The Hauler will furnish all vehicles and suitable trailers with covers or liners, drivers, fuel, maintenance, repairs, insurance, license tags, permit licenses and incidentals necessary for the legal operation of transporting and disposal of the Class AA Biosolids or Unclassified Dewatered Sludge.
On February 3, 2020, Wellington released ITB 202013 on Demandstar, seeking qualified firms to provide such services. The solicitation was also advertised in the Palm Beach Post and posted on Wellington's website. On March 3, 2020, two (2) proposals were received.
