EXPLANATION: LDR/Code Re-Write in progress and seeking initial comments on current drafts. Formal review and adoption to be scheduled in 2017.
SUMMARY: Article 1 - General Provisions (currently 22 pages, proposed11 pages) Code Re-Write will create interim non-conformities with existing developments and previously approved master plans. All Development Orders and subsequent regulations to remain in effect. Ready to be scheduled for Advisory Board Workshop.
Article 2 - Concurrency Management (currently 32 pages, proposed 3 pages)
Previous Article 11 Adequate Public Facility Standards has been entirely revised. Final comments received and ready to be scheduled for Advisory Board Workshop.
Article 4 - Enforcement Proceedings and Penalties (currently 3 pages, proposed 1 page)
Previous Article 14. Final comments received and ready to be scheduled for Advisory Board Workshop.
Article 5 - Development Review Procedures (currently 78 pages, proposed 42 pages)
Previous review and approval procedures recommended to be revised to allow more administrative level approvals. Will result in expedited zoning review process especially for routine approvals and permits. Development Order Time Limitations and Phasing also being reduced. Final comments received and ready for Advisory Board Workshop.
