ITEM: AUTHORIZATION TO CONTINUE UTILIZING A CONSULTANT TO PROVIDE GIS SUPPORT
REQUEST: Authorization to continue utilizing Flipside Geograhics, LLC DBA Flipsidegeo to provide additional GIS support, at an annual cost of approximately $80,000 for Fiscal Year 2026.

EXPLANATION: The Village utilizes Flipside Geographics, LLC DBA Flipsidegeo to provide supplemental GIS support on an as-needed basis. The scope of work includes but is not limited to GIS programming, scripting and data integration services.
Flipsidegeo has worked closely with the Village staff and possesses in -depth knowledge of the Village’s GIS infrastructure.
The current hourly rate and anticipated expenditures remains unchanged in the proposed agreement for Fiscal Year 2026.
In accordance with the Village’s Purchasing Manual, services that require special skill, training, or expertise are exempt from competitive solicitation, however, since the projected annual expenditures are approximately $80,000, Council approval is required.
Staff recommends continuing services with Flipsidegeo through September 30, 2026.
