ITEM: AUTHORIZATION TO UTILIZE A SOURCEWELL CONTRACT, AS A BASIS FOR PRICING, FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY WIND RETROFIT PROJECT

EXPLANATION: The Village's Public Works Administration Building requires a comprehensive wind retrofit and roof replacement project to enhance structural integrity, improve resilience to severe weather events, and ensure compliance with the current Florida Building Code. The existing roof system has exceeded its expected service life and exhibits visible deterioration.
On December 10, 2024, Sourcewell, a State of Minnesota local government agency and service cooperative, awarded Contract No. FL-R3-RW-092524-ADR to Advanced Roofing, Inc. for the construction, repair, alteration, and renovation of public facilities. Utilizing this competitively solicited contract allows the Village to secure services in an efficient and cost-effective manner, eliminating the need for a separate formal bid process. The Gordian Group, Inc is Sourcewell's indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity construction contracting program (currently referred to as EZIQC) Contract Administrator.
Under EZIQC Work Order No. 148051.00, Advanced Roofing, Inc. will provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and related services necessary to complete the Public Works Facility Wind Retrofit, including:
* Removal and disposal of the existing roofing system;
* Installation of new 3-inch MEPS roof board insulation and 60-mil TPO roof membrane;
* Replacement of aluminum drip edges, roof protection board, and associated flashing components;
* Installation of impact-rated windows and storefront doors with Solarban 60 film for improved energy efficiency; and
* Completion of all work in accordance with the Florida Building Code and Village specifications.
