EXPLANATION: The National Community SurveyTM (NCS) report is about the "livability" of Wellington. The NCS captures residents' opinions considering 10 central facets of a community:
* Economy
* Mobility
* Community Design
* Utilities and Infrastructure
* Safety
* Natural Environment
* Parks and Recreation
* Health and Wellness
* Education, Arts, and Culture
* Inclusivity and Engagement
The report provides the opinions of a representative sample of 344 residents of the Village collected from May 20, 2025, to July 1, 2025. The margin of error around any reported percentage is 5% for all respondents, and the response rate for the survey was 12%. The survey results were weighted so that the demographic profile of respondents was representative of the demographic profile of adults in Wellington.
The report also provides a comparison to a database of resident perspectives gathered from over 500 communities nationwide. The results indicate whether Wellington is higher, similar, or lower than the respective benchmark. A comparison of custom benchmarks (communities in Florida) was also provided. For the comparison to the National Benchmarks, Wellington received 22 higher ratings, 100 similar ratings, and zero lower ratings. For the comparison to the custom benchmarks, Wellington received 38 higher ratings, 84 similar ratings, and zero lower ratings. The results and trends of the survey are important indicators of resident opinions and provide useful information for what aspects of the community are most important to residents and which they perceive as being of higher or lower quality.
