ITEM: RATIFICATION OF PURCHASE ORDER ISSUED FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF SIDEWALKS IN CHATSWORTH VILLAGE

EXPLANATION: On May 12, 2026, Council provided authorization to utilize the Palm Beach County Pathway and Minor Continuing Services Construction Contract (Project No. 2025055), awarded to Wynn & Sons Environmental Construction Co., LLC for the replacement of sidewalks in the amount of $193,520.00. Purchase Order 260864 was issued for this work on June 1, 2026. After work began, it was apparent additional sidewalk repairs were needed. In an effort to complete the additional repairs and keep the contractor from demobilizing, Public Works authorized an additional $87,835.02 worth of work to be completed.
Pursuant to the Purchasing Manual, the change order threshold for this procurement requires Council approval. Total expenditures paid to date are $281,355.02.
Staff is requesting ratification of the purchase order issued for the replacement of sidewalks in the amount of $281,355.02.
