EXPLANATION: On October 23, 2012, Council awarded contract #108-12/DZ, to Wellington Professional Lawn Care, Inc., to provide landscape maintenance to secondary roadways Village-wide, for three years effective through December 31, 2015. The contract included two (2) additional one (1) year renewal options. Staff is seeking authorization to exercise the first renewal option, with no change in pricing, terms and conditions, effective through December 31, 2016.
Wellington Professional Lawn Care, Inc. is a Western Community local vendor and has provided superior landscape maintenance services to the Village during the term of the existing contract.
Staff recommends renewing contract #108-12/DZ, with Wellington Professional Lawn Care, a Western Community local vendor, to provide landscape maintenance services to secondary roadways Village-wide, for one additional year, effective through December 31, 2016.
