EXPLANATION: The Village Council previously awarded ITB #202310 Annual Fourth of July Fireworks Display Services to Zambelli Fireworks Mfg. Company in 2023. The initial term of the agreement expires March 13, 2026. Staff has obtained an alternative quote from Pyrotecnico Fireworks, Inc in the amount of $55,000 to provide fireworks for the upcoming July 4, 2026 display.
Pyrotecnico Fireworks recently provided the fireworks display for Wellington’s 30th Anniversary Celebration and has provided fireworks displays for both local and state-wide municipalities including:
• City of West Palm Beach
• City of Riviera Beach
• City of Cape Coral
• City of Clearwater
• City of Hollywood
• City of Key West
• City of Margate
Pursuant to the Village’s Purchasing Manual, any contract exceeding $50,000 requires Council approval. Staff requests authorization to award a contract to Pyrotecnico Fireworks, Inc. in the amount of $55,000.00.
