ITEM: AUTHORIZATION TO UTILIZE A PALM BEACH COUNTY CONTRACT WITH WYNN & SONS ENVIRONMENTAL CONSTRUCTION CO., INC. FOR VARIOUS GOLF CART PATHWAYS

EXPLANATION: The proposed projects consist of the following:
* Forest Hill Blvd. at Birkdale Drive - Expansion of an existing concrete sidewalk along the north side of Forest Hill Boulevard (Birkdale Drive to Stribling Way) from 6-feet wide to 8-feet wide. This will connect the Multi Modal Path on Stribling Way to the path of Birkdale Drive. - $35,036.00
* South Shore Blvd. - Big Blue Trace to Margate Place - Expansion of an existing concrete sidewalk along the west side of South shore Blvd. (Margate Place to Big Blue Trace) from 6-feet wide to 8-feet wide. This will lengthen the Multi Modal Path along South Shore Boulevard and improve connectivity. - $72,551.00
* Pierson Road East off Village Park - Expansion of an existing 6-feet wide concrete sidewalk along Pierson Road and Fairlane Farms Road. The project will widen the existing sidewalk to approximately 8-feet wide connecting the Village's Multi Modal Pathway system to the amenities at Village Park. - $41,222.00
Staff is requesting authorization to utilize Palm Beach County Contract # R2020-1641 with Wynn & Sons Environmental, as a basis for pricing for pathway improvements in the amount of
$148,809.00.
