REQUEST:  Council direction on the acquisition of the Wanderers Par 3 Executive Golf Course.

EXPLANATION:  The Wanderers Executive Golf Course has not been played as a golf course for many years. Its location within the Landings Planned Unit Development along Aero Club Road is suitable for a passive public park. The park could include walking, biking, and open riding space for equestrians. Funds are available to purchase the property, if directed, but a budget amendment would be required.
