ITEM: AUTHORIZATION TO UTILIZE VARIOUS CONTRACTS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT ISLE VIEW DRIVE AND LAKE WORTH ROAD

EXPLANATION: On April 12th, 2024, the Village Manager received a letter from the Palm Beach County School District stating their commitment to share the cost of a signalized intersection at Isles View Drive and Lake Worth Rd on a 50/50 percent basis.
At the Village Council Visioning session on April 19th, 2024, the Village Council directed staff to pursue design services and construction cost for the intersection signal.
On July 16th, 2024 council approved a professional design services task order to Simmons and White Consulting Engineers.
