EXPLANATION: Carlos joined the Village of Wellington in October of 2012 as a Customer Service Representative. His talents were quickly recognized and he was moved to assist with customer service in the Building Department the following year. However, within a short six months he was promoted to a Project Management Assistant in Utilities Administration. Today Carlos plays an instrumental role in the Engineering Services Department where he assists with the permitting process, contractors and endless calls from residents. Carlos’ calm and easygoing demeanor makes him approachable and he always has a smile!
It is for these reasons and more that Carlos is nominated as the Employee of the Month!
