ITEM: AUTHORIZATION TO APPOINT AN ALTERNATE SELECTION COMMITTEE FOR THE ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING (ERP) REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) SOLICITATION

EXPLANATION: The Village is scheduled to release an RFP in March 2017, seeking qualified firms to provide a state of the art Enterprise Resource Planning solution. Enterprise Resource Planning is a business process management software that allows an organization to use a system of integrated applications to manage the business and automate many back office functions. The new system will replace the Village's existing Naviline system.
Pursuant to Chapter 9 - Section 3 Selection Committee members will typically consist of five staff members. The Manager appoints three (3) persons to be standing members of the committee, each of whom shall have experience with and general knowledge of the Purchasing Manual. The fourth and fifth members of the Committee shall be selected on a case by case basis by the Manager, and shall possess technical knowledge regarding the subject matter of the particular solicitation. The Village's selection committee is typically comprised of:

2. Tom Lundeen - Village Engineer
3. Robert Basehart - Director of Planning, Zoning and Building
Subject Matter Experts:

Due to the nature of the ERP project, the Manager is recommending the following selection committee for this solicitation:
