ITEM: AUTHORIZATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO SCOTTY’S SPORT SHOP, INC. FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF SPORTS UNIFORMS

EXPLANATION: The Parks and Recreation Department utilizes a contract for the purchase and delivery of various uniforms for Village Sports Programs.
On July 30, 2026, the Village released ITB #020-26/ER Supply and Delivery of Sports Uniforms seeking qualified vendors to provide such services. The solicitation was publicly advertised on Euna OpenBids (formerly known as DemandStar) and Palm Beach County's Legal Notice site. On September 3, 2026, the Village received four (4) proposals. Two (2) of the bidders were deemed non-responsive for not providing a complete schedule of values; and one (1) bidder was deemed non-responsible for not providing all of the requested product samples and for not responding to a request for an update on missing items.
Staff requests authorization to award a contract to the responsive, responsible vendor, Scotty’s Sport Shop, Inc. for the supply and delivery of sports uniforms in the amount of approximately $73,400.00 annually. The new contract provides an annual savings of approximately $1,950.00 (2.6%).
The initial term of the contract is for one (1) year from the date of award and allows for four (4) additional, one (1) year periods.
