ITEM: AUTHORIZATION TO UTILIZE A CLAY COUNTY CONTRACT, FOR THE PURCHASE OF PARTS, REQUIRED TO REPAIR VARIOUS PARKS VILLAGEWIDE
REQUEST: Authorization to utilize a Clay County Contract with REP Services, Inc., as a basis for pricing to furnish and deliver parts to repair various parks Village-wide in the amount of $67,059.96.

EXPLANATION: The Public Works Department is seeking authorization to utilize a Clay County Contract #2023-2024-284 with REP Services, Inc., in the amount of $67,059.96 for the purchase of the necessary parts to complete playground repairs at various parks throughout the Village. The Village hired a certified playground inspection company, Playground Guardian, LLC. for the purpose of inspecting all parks Village wide, and to provide a report with recommendations for each.
The following parks will be repaired based on the recommendations from the inspections:

On July 24, 2024, Clay County awarded a contract to ITB #23/24-074 to multiple companies to provide various equipment and amenities for parks and playground through July 23, 2027, with optional two (2) year one (1) year renewals. This contract provides a percentage discount off manufacturer retail prices, for playground equipment and parts.
Staff recommends utilizing a Clay County Contract 2023/2024-284, as basis for pricing, with REP Services, Inc. to furnish and deliver parts to complete the recommended repairs to various parks Village wide, in the amount of $67,059.96.
