EXPLANATION: The intent of this project is to install multiple dumpsters and a single material enclosure including all appurtenances at the locations listed below:
• Dumpster #1: Village Park Maintenance Building
• Dumpster #2: Village Park Pavilion #2
• Dumpster #3: Village Park Soccer Fields #1 & #2
• Dumpster #4: Village Park Football Pavilion
• Material Enclosure #1: Village Park Football Parking Area
The bid also included two alternate bid items for dumpster enclosures at Tiger Shark Cove Park and Olympia Park. Given the cost of these additional enclosures, staff recommends proceeding with the bid alternates.
On April 7, 2024, Wellington released ITB #202411 on Demandstar and Wellington’s website, seeking qualified firms to provide such services. The solicitation was also advertised in the Palm Beach Post. On May 14, 2024, three (3) proposals were received, as summarized below.
