ITEM: RESOLUTION NO. R2025-42 (GREENBRIAR BOULEVARD REBUILD & BICYCLE LANES PROJECT LAP AMENDMENT)
A RESOLUTION OF WELLINGTON, FLORIDA'S COUNCIL TO AMEND THE EXHIBIT B ATTACHED TO THE LOCAL AGENCY PROGRAM AGREEMENT WITH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR GREENBRIAR BOULEVARD REBUILD & BICYCLE LANES PROJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
REQUEST: Approval of Resolution No. R2025-42 to amend the Exhibit B attached to the Local Agency Program Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation for Greenbriar Boulevard Rebuild & Bicycle Lanes Project.

EXPLANATION: On March 11, 2025, Council Agenda File # 25-7020 was brought before Council for Approval and Council Approved Resolution R2025-11 to enter into a Local Agency Program Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation for Greenbriar Boulevard Rebuild & Bicycle Lanes Project (see Exhibit A).
Florida Department of Transportation notified Wellington that they would be voiding the previously partially executed LAP Agreement for the Greenbriar Boulevard Rebuild & Bicycle Lanes Project and reissued another Agreement with changes limited only to Exhibit B (see Exhibit B and Exhibit C). There are no changes to the overall funding amount; however, all funding will now be moved to Fiscal Year 2025, eliminating the previous split between FY 2025 and FY 2026.
Staff is requesting Council's Approval of Resolution No. R2025-42 and execution of the updated Local Agency Program Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation for Greenbriar Boulevard Rebuild & Bicycle Lanes Project (see Exhibit D).
