EXPLANATION: The Village of Wellington utilizes contracts for the supply and delivery of road base, asphalt millings, and other aggregate materials to support the ongoing maintenance of unpaved equestrian roadways and other Village infrastructure.
The Village issued Invitation to Bid 202517 on April 22, 2025. The solicitation was publicly advertised on DemandStar and on Palm Beach County's Legal Notice site. Bids were opened on May 22, 2025. A total of five vendors responded. Upon review, three vendors were deemed responsive and responsible, having met all solicitation requirements including submission of required samples, complete bid responses, and compliance with geographic proximity requirements applicable to certain categories.
Staff is recommending award to all three vendors, based on the lowest price vendor as summarized in the attached bid summary.
The initial term of the contract is one (1) year from the date of award, with the option to renew for three (3) additional one (1) year terms. Pricing shall remain fixed during the initial contract period.
