ITEM: AUTHORIZATION TO RENEW AN EXISTING MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR THE AMPHITHEATER LAWN AND BALL FIELDS LOCATED AT GREENBRIAR PARK AND SOUTH SHORE PARK
REQUEST: Authorization to renew an existing contract with Haverland Ag Innovations for the Maintenance of the Amphitheater Lawn and the ball fields located at Greenbriar Park and South Shore Park in the amount of $248,057.00.

EXPLANATION: The Public Works Department manages a specialized schedule to maintain the Amphitheater lawn, Greenbriar Park ball fields and South Shore Park Ball fields. The program includes mowing, trimming, fertilization, soil conditioning, thatch removal and chemical application.
On August 17, 2023, the Village released ITB #202335 for the Amphitheater Annual Lawn Maintenance, seeking qualified vendors to provide these services. On October 10, 2023, Council awarded ITB #202335 to Florida ULS Operating LLC dba Haverland Ag Innovations to provide these services. Haverland Ag Innovations was the sole bidder. Amendments were subsequently approved by the Village Council on June 10, 2025 adding the maintenance of Greenbriar Park and South Shore Park ball fields.
The initial term of the contract was for three (3) years, beginning on December 1, 2023, and includes the option to renew for three (3) additional one (1) year periods. Haverland Ag Innovations has agreed to renew with no price increase for this renewal period.
Staff requests authorization to exercise the first renewal option through October 9, 2027 with Haverland Ag Innovations for the maintenance of the Amphitheater lawn, and ball fields locate at Greenbriar Park and South Shore Park in the amount of $248,057.00.
