EXPLANATION: The Public Works Departments utilizes a contract for the purchase and delivery of shell rock to provide maintenance and repairs to over thirty (30) miles of unpaved roadways throughout the Village, including equestrian preserve areas.
On July 11, 2023, Council awarded ITB #202326 to Palm Beach Aggregates, LLC as the primary awardee effective through July 10, 2024.
Staff is requesting authorization to exercise the first renewal option with Palm Beach Aggregates, LLC, effective through July 10, 2025 with no price increases.
The contract specifications are exclusive to the Village due to the specific types of material used for unpaved roadways and equestrian areas Village-wide.
