REQUEST:                     To amend Articles II - Parking for Disabled Persons and IV - Penalties; Miscellaneous Provisions of Chapter 22 - Traffic and Vehicles, of the Wellington Code of Ordinances.

EXPLANATION:                     Parking violations within Wellington are being processed by the Palm Beach County Clerk of Court. These proposed amendments reflect the changes in the process including the payment, appeal, and submittal to the state, with the change to the Clerk of Court processing. This change will reduce Wellington's costs associated with the processing of parking violations and provide a consistent process for any vehicle regardless of residency.
