A RESOLUTION OF WELLINGTON, FLORIDA’S COUNCIL AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2026-2027 UTILITY FUND BUDGET FOR FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION GRANT FUNDS AWARDED FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE WELLINGTON WATER AND SEWER EXTENSION PROJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
REQUEST: Approval of Resolution No. R2026-58 Budget Amendment for the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection Grant Project L0565 in the amount of $4,600,000.00 in grant monies amending the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Utility Fund Budget for the Wellington Water and Sewer Extension Project revenue and expenditures.

EXPLANATION: The State of Florida 2026 Budget included funding of Legislative Offer (LO) 565 in the amount of $4,600,000.00 for the Wellington Water and Sewer Extension Project in the K-Park location.
Approval of Resolution No. R2026-58 amends the Utility Fund Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 for the $4,600,000.00 grant for the Wellington Water and Sewer Extension project budget. Project work will be coordinated with the project owner, Related Ross. Furthermore, Related Ross is responsible for all project costs not reimbursed by the grant of $4,600,000.00.
