REQUEST: Authorization to utilize a Sourcewell Contract #020223-CEC with Bobcat Company, as a basis for pricing, for the purchase and delivery of equipment in the amount of $54,729.99.

EXPLANATION: In accordance with the approved equipment schedules, staff is requesting authorization to purchase a Fiscal Year 2025 budgeted skid steer loader as it will be replacing one due to the age and safety concerns of the old unit. This equipment being replaced has been fully depreciated and will be sold on GovDeals.com, the Village’s contracted public auction. The new skid steer loader will be used for various project located at the Water Reclamation Facility including the handling of solid materials.
The Sourcewell Contract offers statewide purchasing contracts on a variety of equipment, and services that are available to all eligible agencies. Under this contract, award is made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. This contract is good through April 17, 2027.
Staff recommends utilizing a Sourcewell Contract with Bobcat Company, as the basis for pricing, for the purchase and delivery of equipment in the amount of $54,729.99.
