EXPLANATION:                     Staff requests Council approval and authorization to execute the Federally-Funded Subaward and Grant Agreement with the State of Florida Division of Emergency Management (attached). This funding agreement provides funds for eligible disaster relief due to Hurricane Milton. Wellington expended approximately $213,000 to date due to Hurricane Milton.  This accounts for payroll and emergency protective measures costs. Invoices  for the debris removal operations have not been received and/or paid to date.
