REQUEST: Authorization to 1) Amend an agreement with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. for Stormwater Vulnerability Assessment to include Preparation of the Village of Wellington Resilience Adaptation Plan in the amount of $130,000, and 2) Approve Resolution No. AC2026-04 amending the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 ACME Fund Budget for Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Resilient Florida Program Grant for the Village of Wellington Adaptation Plan.

EXPLANATION: Staff is seeking authorization to:
1) Amend an agreement with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. for Stormwater Vulnerability Assessment to include Preparation of the Village of Wellington Resilience Adaptation Plan in the amount of $130,000.
On September 19, 2024, Council awarded an agreement (RFQ 202414- Vulnerability Assessment) with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. to provide a Stormwater Vulnerability Assessment. The assessment has since been completed and serves as the technical foundation for the Village's next phase of resilience planning.
Wellington has accepted a Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Resilient Florida Program grant in the amount of $130,000 to prepare a Village Resilience Adaptation Plan. The Adaptation Plan is a continuation of the previously completed Stormwater Vulnerability Assessment and will identify resilience strategies, prioritize adaptation project, and provide a roadmap for implementation consistent with Florida's Adaptation Planning Guidebook. The adaptation plan will be fully funded through the FDEP grant.
