A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF WELLINGTON, FLORIDA APPROVING A QUIT CLAIM DEED BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF WELLINGTON AND PALM BEACH POLO AND COUNTRY CLUB PROPERTY OWNERS’ ASSOCIATION, INC. FOR CONVEYANCE OF THE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT TRACTS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
REQUEST: Approval of Resolution No. R2019-21 authorizing the execution of a Quit Claim Deed between the Village of Wellington and Palm Beach Polo and Country Club Property Owners’ Association, Inc. for the conveyance of stormwater management tracts from the Village to the Property Owners’ Association.

EXPLANATION: Tracts B and C were dedicated in fee simple to the Village of Wellington on the Plat for Cypress Island of Palm Beach Polo and Country Club for stormwater management and drainage purposes. The Village of Wellington has been maintaining the tracts.
The Palm Beach Polo and Country Club Property Owners’ Association, Inc. (the “POA”) owns and maintains the lakes abutting the two tracts owned by the Village of Wellington. The POA has requested that Wellington convey the parcels to the POA so that there is continuity in the ownership of the lake parcel. Once conveyed to the POA, Wellington would no longer be responsible for maintaining the referenced tracts.
