EXPLANATION: The Public Works Department purchases flowers, trees, vines, shrubs and groundcover to refurbish and maintain landscape areas Village-wide.
On August 25, 2025, the Village released ITB #202521 for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of Landscape Materials on Demandstar, seeking qualified firms to provide such services. The solicitation was also advertised on the Palm Beach County's Legal Notice site. On September 23, 2025, the Village received three (3) proposals meeting the required specifications. One (1) bidder, Gardening Angel Nursery, Inc. was deemed non-responsive for failure to submit the required bid documents.

Prices were solicited for 214 different items under different categories to allow for maximum purchase options on the department's needs. Staff will utilize the unit prices provided by each to determine the lowest priced vendor on a project-by-project basis on price and responsiveness. The initial contract term is for three (3) years with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year terms.
Staff recommends awarding contracts for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of Landscape Materials to all three (3) qualified bidders.
