EXPLANATION: Wellington is seeking a Comprehensive Plan Amendment to modify Table LU&CD 1-1 Land Use Designations: Density and Intensity of the Land Use & Community Design Element. The table provides the density, intensity, and reinvestment bonus. It is necessary to amend Policies LU&CD 1.3.3 and LU&CD 1.4.1 of the element for consistency with Table LU&CD 1-1.
The amendment does not change the intent of the Land Use & Community Design Element. Additionally, the amendment provides for consistency with Wellington’s Land Development Regulations (LDR), current vision, and future needs
