REQUEST: Approval of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Village of Wellington Law Enforcement Services Plan (LESP) for FY27.

EXPLANATION: In accordance with our Law Enforcement Services Agreement with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, District 8 staff provides a Law Enforcement Services Plan (LESP) to Wellington annually.
This plan utilizes current trends in crime, population, response times, and calls for service, as well as clearance rate comparisons and an analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and trends to develop specific action plans and associated performance measures to direct policing efforts to address developing crime trends and public safety concerns.
This is being presented to Council for review and approval for FY27.
