REQUEST: Council discussion of the Village Attorney’s Employment Agreement.

EXPLANATION: At the April 27, 2016 Village Council meeting, Council approved and authorized Ms. Cohen’s employment agreement commencing on April 29, 2016 and ending on April 29, 2017.
If Council desires to renew Ms. Cohen’s contract, it is recommended that a member of Council be designated to negotiate the terms of the Village Attorney’s Employment Agreement. Vice Mayor McGovern had been designated and negotiated Ms. Cohen’s contract in April of this year.
