REQUEST:  Council discussion and direction regarding the pavement management plan.

EXPLANATION:  On February 19^th, the attached Administrative Transmittal was distributed outlining the Village's pavement management plan.  Generally the program includes the use of crack sealing as a means to extend pavement life by preventing water intrusion into pavement sub structure (base and sub base).  This can be a cost effective method of temporarily extending pavement life for up to 3 to 5 additional years.  

Various options and estimated costs are also noted in the attachment.  

RECOMMENDATION:  Council discussion and direction regarding the pavement management plan.
