EXPLANATION: The agent, Don Hearing of Cotleur and Hearing, Inc., on behalf of the applicant, W & W Equestrian Club, LLC, is seeking a Zoning Text Amendment to amend Article 6, Chapter 10 of Wellington’s Land Development Regulations (LDRs), Equestrian Overlay Zoning District (EOZD), by creating a Subarea F and to establish regulations for the subarea.
At the September 7, 2016 Equestrian Preserve Committee meeting, the Committee recommend approval with a unanimous vote (5-0) of the Zoning Text Amendment.
At the September 14, 2016 Planning Zoning and Adjustment Board meeting, the applicant requested postponement of the petitions to the October 13, 2016 PZAB meeting. The Board unanimously approved (5-0) the applicants request to postpone all Winding Trails petitions to a date certain meeting. Board member Tomas Bueno recused himself.
SUMMARY: Staff is recommending approval of Ordinance No. 2016-17 Equestrian Overlay Zoning District Zoning Text Amendment to amend Article 6.10 of Wellington’s LDRs by creating Subarea F of the EOZD and establishing regulations for Subarea F.
