REQUEST: Presentation by Noah Norwitch of a monetary donation to the Village of Wellington’s Parks and Recreation Department Noah Norwitch Scholarship.

EXPLANATION: Since Noah was 5 years old, he has asked friends and family for donations to a charity instead of receiving birthday gifts. Previously, he had donated all monies received for his birthday to Angel Flight Southeast, a volunteer pilot organization that helps to arrange free air transportation by private aircraft to medical facilities for children and adults with medical needs. However, beginning in 2014, Noah decided to donate his money to the Village of Wellington for the establishment of a scholarship fund for use in offsetting recreational program expenses for local families. Noah has raised money again this year, breaking his record for donations, and he is very excited to present the Village Council with his check for 2016. It should also be noted that Noah’s little brother Caleb also raises money for his birthday which he donates to Little Smiles.
Noah and his family will be in attendance to present the check.
