EXPLANATION: A proclamation will be presented to 211 Palm Beach/Treasure Coast recognizing February 2017 as “211 Awareness Month in the Village of Wellington.”
Patrice Schroeder, Community Relations Specialist, 211 Palm Beach/Treasure Coast, also requested to make a brief presentation on their 211 Helpline and the services that benefit the community. The 211 Helpline assists callers with crisis intervention, suicide prevention, information, assessment and referral to community services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. A similar presentation was given to Council in 2016.
