EXPLANATION: Alan Friedman joined the Village of Wellington as a Field Services Representative on May 1, 2006.
Mr. Friedman has played a significant role in the Field Services Division with the organization of the shop area, scheduling of safety courses and classes for employees, maintaining employee’s CEU records, ensuring that all employees have their proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), assisting with personnel issues, ordering parts and equipment and maintaining equipment, among many other duties.
Alan has a great work ethic and has coordinated with countless vendors, saving the Village thousands of dollars on equipment purchases, pump repairs, generator repairs, electrical parts, shop supplies, etc. He ensures that the shop is spotless and many people have commented on its cleanliness and organization.
It is for these reasons and more that Alan is Wellington’s Employee of the Month for March 2017.
