REQUEST: Naming of appointments to fill the vacant seats on the Equestrian Preserve Committee, Public Safety Committee and Tree Board.

EXPLANATION: At this time, there are vacancies on the Equestrian Preserve Committee, Public Safety Committee and Tree Board.
The Equestrian Preserve Committee has one vacancy to fill the seat of John Wash who resigned from the Committee on July 20, 2017. Mr. Wash was Vice Mayor McGovern’s appointment. The Vice Mayor’s appointment to fill that vacant seat does not require a motion by Council.
The Public Safety Committee has one vacancy to fill the seat of Andrea DiFonte who resigned from the Committee on June 27, 2017. Ms. DiFonte was appointed by Council as an At-Large member and the naming of the appointment to fill that vacancy requires a motion and approval by Council.
The Tree Board has one vacancy to fill the seat of William Gross who resigned from the Board on July 15, 2017. Mr. Gross was Vice Mayor McGovern’s appointment. The Vice Mayor’s appointment to fill that vacant seat does not require a motion by Council.
