ITEM: AUTHORIZATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO PROVIDE LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR PARKS AND SECONDARY ROADWAYS
REQUEST: Authorization to award contracts to provide landscape maintenance services for parks Village-wide to Mainguy Landscape Services, in the amount of $210,690.00, and to Wellington Professional Lawn Care to maintain secondary roadways, in the amount of $125,280.00.

EXPLANATION: The Public Works Department currently contracts with Gardenscapes of the Palm Beaches to provide landscape maintenance services for parks Village-wide and Wellington Professional Lawn Care to provide landscape maintenance services for secondary roadways. The current parks contract expires March 29, 2018, while the existing secondary roadway contract expires March 31, 2018. Wellington is currently paying $251,506.50 and $97,910.00, respectively, for these services.
On December 10, 2017, Wellington released ITB #024-17/DZ on Demandstar, seeking qualified firms to provide such services. The solicitation was also advertised in the Palm Beach Post and posted on Wellington's website. On January 17, 2018, five (5) proposals were received as summarized below:
