EXPLANATION:  The Public Works Department is seeking authorization to utilize a Clay County contract with Robertson Industries, Inc. to furnish, deliver and install new safety surfacing and repair existing poured in place surfacing at Village Park, Tiger Shark Cove Park and Margate Park.

Clay County recently approved the second option to renew RFP #13/14-8 with Robertson Industries, Inc. through February 10, 2019 for parks and playground equipment and amenities.  The RFP provides a percentage discount off manufacturer retail prices.

In order to ensure the Clay County contract provides the best price, staff reviewed a similar National IPA contract and found both contracts provide the same price to the Village.
