EXPLANATION: For more than forty (40) years, the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and its members have celebrated “Drinking Water Week,” as it is a unique opportunity for both water professionals and the communities they serve to join together in recognizing the vital role water plays in their daily lives. The Utilities Department of the Village of Wellington is participating in the celebration of “Drinking Water Week” along with the American Water Works Association.
