REQUEST:  Nomination and Selection of a Voting Delegate for the Florida League of Cities’  92^nd Annual Conference in Hollywood, Florida, from August 16^th to 18^th, 2018.

EXPLANATION:  The Florida League of Cities will hold its 92^nd Annual Conference at the Diplomat Resort in Hollywood, Florida from August 16^th to August 18^th.  It is important that Wellington designate one official to be the voting delegate to cast the Village’s vote at the Annual Business Session, which is scheduled to be held on August 18^th.  Election of League leadership and adoption of resolutions are undertaken during the business meeting.  A resolution is not needed to become a voting delegate.  Attached is information received from the League regarding the designation of the voting delegate.
